The Athlete

Dawn's story starts in the gym. A competitive gymnast from a young age, she built a foundation of discipline, body awareness, and an unshakable respect for what the human body can achieve. When she transitioned to weightlifting, that respect deepened — she learned that strength isn't built in the squat rack alone. It's built in the kitchen, in the recovery, in the micronutrients most people ignore. She spent years testing pre-workouts, proteins, and supplements on the market. Most of them failed her. A few stood out. That gap — between marketing hype and real results — became the seed of everything that followed.
The Ambassador

Dawn's reputation in the fitness community led her to become an ambassador for Herbalife, one of the most recognized names in nutrition. It was a pivotal chapter. She got an inside look at how the supplement industry actually operates — the good, and the gaps: synthetic fillers, proprietary blends that hide dosages, formulas built for profit margins instead of human biology. She began asking questions most ambassadors don't ask, and started dreaming of something better.
The Nutritionist
"I sat across from women frustrated with empty promises."
Certified and practicing, Dawn built a nutrition coaching business from the ground up. She worked with real women — busy moms, career professionals, fellow athletes — who were exhausted by the supplement aisle. She designed custom meal plans, workout nutrition strategies, and supplement protocols based on lifestyle and goals. Not trends. Not hashtags. And what she kept hearing was the same thing: "Why doesn't someone just make the clean, effective stuff you recommend?"
The Founder
"I became a mom. I got serious. I wanted clean, organic, science-backed products I could give my own family."
Motherhood sharpened Dawn's standards. She wasn't just formulating for clients anymore — she was reading labels for her own children. She became focused on sourcing: where ingredients come from, who grows them, what's actually in each capsule. She formulated every product herself, testing on herself first, then her community, then her clients. PureLux Nutrition was born from that kitchen table.
